UI/UX, Brand
Alois Dallmayr KG
2026

The complete redesign of Dallmayr’s online shop encompassed its content and visual identity, bringing the historic Munich house of fine foods into the digital age. The aim was to translate its rich heritage and commitment to exceptional quality into a contemporary digital experience, combining refined visual design with research-driven UX and a seamless shopping journey.

The Interface

Built around 80 modules and over 130 components, the shop’s UX/UI combines e-commerce best practices from sources like the Baymard Institute with a refined, understated design. Each element is crafted to showcase the products, simplify shopping and reduce friction along the customer journey.

Introducing 'Postcards'

Placed ahead of carousels and thematic hubs, these visual elements introduce product categories and collections, helping users navigate extensive assortments. The expressive human portraits by artist Rebecca Bernau add an emotional touch and a distinctive, artful quality to the shopping experience.

Flexible by Design

The result is a library of 30 page templates, giving the client the flexibility to build and customize their online shop.
